Bad news for the hawks with reports that AFL are tightening priority selections to 4 wins or less.....and now choices will be prior to 2nd round

Make it tough now to rebuild from bottom up :p

And I wonder to myself: Why dost a Richmond supporter start posts on the Hawthorn page? Could it possibly be to troll?

One must wonder why a Tiger is so obsessively jealous about picks for lowly sides...

Oh we're from Tigerland (We'll never win it)
We're from Tigerland (We'll always bin it)
We will never ever win
It's such a bloody sin
We'll look quite good - just as we should
Then Richo will give in...

That's fine by me, the Hawks will already have the nucleus of the team we need to be successful.
The poor old hapless Tiggers on the other hand will be still stuck in their customary no-man's land, going nowhere fast. Good luck with that. :thumbsu:

It appears to this one eyed Hawks supporter that the Hawks and Tigers supporters love digging at each other about each other's mediocrity in the last few seasons, and who has received the better players in the draft. Sadly, both clubs have got some of the very best young talent going around because of poor on field performances.

I just hope that both teams can quickly get back up the ladder and knock a couple of the non-Victorian teams out of the eight this year or next!!

I am not a Victorian but geez who could possibly want Port Adelaide or Fremantle in the eight instead of our mighty clubs!!!

More than likely we will finish in the bottom half of the ladder this season which will ensure a top 10 pick, add to that perhaps a potential top 10 f/s in josh kennedy & it's in your ass tiger fans :D

They were going to change it for this year. Collingwood sooked about not getting a pick in the top 6 despite being 13th last year. Then when the AFL sat down to change it Collingwood suddenly realised "hang on, we've lost a few early games this year, we might get a pick" so they left the rule and sure enough... surprise surprise.... Collingwood get the priority pick they were so indignant about and critical of last year.

At least the new rule will hopefully stop all the tanking that has been going on.

"Yawn"

Yes, the Tigers are dominating because they are back around the 9th position.

You are kidding yourself if you think Richmond were that far in front of Hawthorn this year.
