Although we missed the finals, we still had a great year. We were in there until the final whistle and with a bit of luck, we would have been playing finals footy.

Lets look as the posatives:

- The players are finally playing footy the "CC way" and all his key performance indicators are where they should be and where he wants them to be. For this team 2005 is too early for finals footy and 2006 we will be top 8.
- CC coached the side well and provided great leadership. Coaches the side very scientifically with key performance indicators. Fremantle board justified in the decision to extend his contract.
- Pav and McPharlin established as best forward combination in AFL.
- midfield is now holding it own, has real pace and hardness. Will be better next year.
- development of young players Peake, Cowley, Mundy etc under CC leadership. They will also be better players next year.
- for the first time Freo has good squad with depth. Again reflection of CC good management.
- ruck of JLo and Sandi now established at top pair.
- membership and club finances are all time high. Again confidence in board and CC reflects this. Membership will be up next year.

it never ceases to amaze me the stuff that comes from your mind ....... even you the most blinded supporter must be upset with the season surely. either that or CC and /or shwabby must be related to you and you are always talking them up. read my last thread regarding predictions that i made up and put your balls on the line .... i see some people are avoiding it!

Dwayo- when it was still possible for us to make the finals and for you to be proven correct your views were entertaining, but they're not anymore. You make a statement and don't back it up. Please elaborate on the following points-
- what is the CC way? Winning half your games? Going missing for extended periods of time? How do you know what his KPI are and how do you know they were met?
- What part of last night did you think he coached well? Putting Pav in the middle when the game was over? Playing Walker on Pickett? Letting the Cornes brothers get 300 possessions? How is the boards decision justified when we finished 10th? At what position would it be justified to question the extension, 13th 15th?
-Did the midfield hold its own in the derby or in the second half against port? Our best 6 midfielders IMHO are Bell, Hasleby, J Carr, M carr, Schammer and Cook. Only one of those 6 have pace.
- I would be very surprised if membership increased next season. 32,000 is more likely than 36,000.

I thought Dwayo was just a dillusional freo supporter, but after reading what he/she has said it is now clear to me that dwayo is an eagles supporter who is trolling. Could it be UNIT?

Not one freo member would look back at the year and say it was a good year, Not one, sure maybe some very high points but too many low points.

I think even your spin docter Ripper would think your post is stupid, either that or your not taking your medication correct. But to me your not a freo supporter

The board is happy that things are on track. CC is still there with a promise of a big 2006 coming up. We will be top 8 next year. 2005 was part of CC,s plan.

For all the howling from a minority, a majority of the members/supporters are happy that CC is still there and understand that he is the best coach Freo can have.

Anyone who says this has been a good year should be shot. Really this is bloody ridiculous
Look at Carlton, Collingwood etc - now these teams have problems.

We had all those injuries and yet we came close to finals footy. With exception of the last Eagles game, we have been competative with the rest of the comp. With a little luck we would have made finals footy a year ahead of CC plan. Also the group coped well under all the injuries and the team has a lot more depth. We now have a 32 or so players that can fill our top 22 spots.

Our run also home showed how well CC has developed as a leading AFL coach and will only get better next year.

It has been a good year. Look at the big picture.

So to all you howlers, I say you know "nothing" except on how to look at negatives. Thank goodness the Freo board takes no notice of the howlers and fair weather supporters - you are a very....... very small minority.

I am not a dillusional freo supporter just a good supporter. There week in and week out - Regardless

Can't Coach's Super Special Plan to miss the finals on a consistant basis with arguably one of the AFL's most talented lists?

I understand now.

At least with parrot you get the impression he's just taking the ******** to get a reaction. It's done on the main board.

This tool is doing it on our own board just for us. He's either just targetting his ********-taking or he really believes what he says.

The latter is just scary.

Tico like your mate Jarman, your guys problem is that you are both one eyed and anti CC. All you do is knock the poor guy and not give him a fair go.

If you read many of the other posts, most guys are happy to have CC as head coach and still have a very high opinion of him. He is the right bloke to lead the club in 2006 and onwards.

The club has achieved a lot under his leadership.

You are either CC Son or a WCE supporter ...

I am not happy missing the 8 , I am not happy with the excuses being feed from the club for fans like yourself to believe everything the clubs says ..
I am like most other Dockers fans , unhappy with our season . I am unhappy we have only won 11 games from the last 26 ... and i dont honestly think CC is the coach for us to go to the next level . Look at facts and figures ...

Listen to what media people like Mike Sheehan , Robert Walls , Rex hunt say about the Dockers ... underachievers ..

As far as CC plan , when he first came to the club , he said we would be hitting our peak in 2004 and fighting for a top four finish in 2005 ... now thats not mentioned anymore .

Beginning of the season (prior to being resigned) he said to keep my job i need to finish in the 8 ...(this is all on public record) Pavlich said pre season "IF WE DONT MAKE THE 8 HEADS WILL ROLL" ...

Dwayo , fans like you are the reason we will never strive for anything higher than 9th to 10th ...you are happy with that result . I am not !!!

Tell your dad CC , that he is not selling me anymore jouneys or sob stories about the dockers being a easy target ...

does anyone know how to set up a poll , maybe we can do one and see who thinks that CC has done a good job and he should keep his job and an option for the opposite and see what everyone thinks . i think everyones opinions are pretty divided. anyone know how to set it up do so please.

I read in this morning's Worst Australian that Rick Hart reckons it's been a pretty successful year. The last eight games were great, and that everyone should be looking forward to seeing us continue our improvement next year.

What total rubbish!!! We beat some average teams (St Kilda excepted), and that makes up for the hole that CC put us in. One can only assume further improvement would see us move to 11th on the ladder next year.
