So Jarman you are seriously telling me you wrote off CC at season end of 2003 ? After being in the job for 2 years, taking over a side that had won less than a handful of games the previous year and taken us to a final in 2003
If you look at the past history on Dockerland, you will find my CC views and they sure upset a lot of readers and Shane back in those times.

I could adopt the line that I told you so but that is not my interest. I would just like CC replaced with another coach, so that we can go forward. He has been given his go and we have failed two years in a row. Nothing will change in 2006 with him as coach.

For the record, CC has probably lost me this year. The injuries are probably his saving grace. Also the fact that he'd cost us a fortune to payoff and his assistants. No current acceptable coach is available an assistant is pure pot luck if hes any better. Malthouse questionable, Pagan, Sheedy or Matthews arent interested (all been offered $$$ previously). No, I'm not happy with them extending his contract, the media will tear us down no matter what we do. Abit of pressure helped at times this year, maybe no extension might have been the trick this year.

Like you I was unsure about CC prior to this season and have completely lost faith this season. Even when we were really struggling with injury the 22 that took the field each week was still a pretty good side. I actually think it will cost us more to keep Connolly. We're currently looking for a new major and minor sponsor and these would be easier to attract with a quality coach. Add to that the fact that with so many disgruntled supporters we could quite easily lose 3,000 members which would be worth about $600,000 to the club. If your club is struggling it's weak to jump off but when you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel some people feel it's not worth the heartache or the money to prop up a club with the 3 stooges at the helm. I'll be back next season but several Freo supporters I've spoken to say they won't be there next season if Connolly Schwab and Hart are steering the ship.

I think appointing an assistant coach is only a small gamble if you have the right people making the decisions. Our old board were incompetent and that explains Drummy, and as soon as Schwab was named CEO Connolly was always going to be our coach. Roos, Worsfold, Clarkson, Laidley, Rohde and Thomas have all been appointed as senior coaches in recent seasons without experience. Most look likely to have a long career at this stage, with Rhode being the only dud, and the jury is still out on Clarkson.

when you see most of the east fremantle element removed from the board , that is when we will start moving forward. a lot of weak decisions have been made regarding our club starting right at the top

For gawds sake grab a brain you stupid halfwit - you make Collingwood supporters sound half intelligent!

Try slowing down your typing so your brain can decipher your last paragraph.
