Matty's was similar to Mitchell coming to us, the clubs they left were very happy for them to move on and continue their footy carrier and make a few more $$.
From memory most on here, myself included were really happy for Mat and he'll always be thought of as an Eagles regardless.

I got to the front of the Eagles waitlist for seated members tickets at the end of 2017 (due to the new stadium opening). Back then, one waitlist membership could be converted into up 2 adult and 2 children's tickets (might still be the case but I'm not sure). I don't have kids and had shared the membership with my mate - so we wanted 4 adult tickets (which the club wouldn't give us). We took all four and spent the whole season using Children's tickets to bring two adults in each week (and they never checked). We also got drawn out for the GF ballot and successfully used them for the GF.Feel less dirty giving money to freo by buying a child ticket. They never check
The annoying thing was that the next season, they automatically upgraded them to two adult seats unless we provided proof that they were used for kids (eg birth certificate).

Apparently only 38k freo members could get tickets today, the rest of the ticket are corporates. That doesn't sound right does it? Was it the same with us with Optus finals?

I bought four from the public release. I checked 10 mins after the window opened and tickets were available. Nowhere near the demand of an Eagles final
