Tom De Koning is going to be a very good footballer.
I thought he was pretty good against us last week and he is now following that up with a solid performance against the Purples.
Once he put s bit more weight on him he is going to be a real handful, hell of a leap on him.

I’m fascinated by the idea of Fremantle with a “full squad”. Who of note are they missing tonight? I am aware of Logue and Hamling down back. You count Pearce I guess but he hasn’t been on the park consistently for a long while. Acres in midfield. And?
They have Fyfe, Mundy, Walters, Hill, Wilson, Ryan, Lobb, Aish, Conca out there tonight. It is hardly a “depleted” side

Just on umpiring & not specifically related to this game (Freo v Blues).
On ABC Saturday Sportstalk this morning Malthouse initially unloaded, big time, on AFL for changing HTB rule mid-season in response to Clarko’s whinge.
He then went on to say umpires are struggling this year specifically because their coach is ‘locked’ in Vic and group, live training is not allowed/feasible with quarantine rules etc. All in all making life very difficult for umpires in what has been a disjointed season.
Adding to that MM also said full group still out possible so there some disconnection still occurs in games.

Must have imported tonight’s umpires from China. Obviously don’t know the new introduced holding the ball rule.
We need to trade for taberner to replace Kennedy next year.
