GWS are a much better team with Green as captain.

Coniglio is a nice footballer and seems like a nice bloke, but Green is a leader, even if it wasn't obvious to himself initially. Love that bloke.

Good to see Franklin kicking goals, hoping he makes the ton. One of those things that is actually good for footy.

And the Giants clash strip looks great, should fill in the G and make it their regular jumper.

Port have Grey, Boak, Dixon, Hartlett, Jonas & Motlop all in that 30+ bracket playing tonight.

Like us though, they’ve got younger replacements waiting in the wings. But ports time is now, definitely, before a slight drop off in a year or two where those replacements find their feet. They’ve handled their list pretty well. Being able to hit the top end of the draft 2 years in a row and ease them in to roles. making the right draft selections has helped, too.

I suppose that port v tigers game had some injuries. Man alive though. I don't watch enough non Eagles games to be up to speed, but i you couldn't have made me tip against port. Then again after the dons showing v swans i tipped them, fool on me, should have gone with GWS as my left fields underdog tip. Hasn't stopped me from tipping against the dees the past 3 weeks, i refuse to belive they are good.

Random shower thought, how many vic teams do you think of having a home ground advantage at Marvel or the G outside of Richmond / the Cats. Maybe its actuallyfeline based. They say it for just about every interstate team, but i don't really think of too many vic teams having that geelong at the alphabet or tigers at the G fear factor.

Very disappointing final quarter by Port Power. Should have won by over 10 goals at least ‍♂

Power up 43 at 3QT. Up 41 with 2:45 left in the game. Won by 28.

Eagles up 41 at 3QT last night, won by 27.

Dogs led by 67 points, 70-3, before letting it come in to 34 points. Kicked away again to win by 62 to be fair to them.

All sides have quarters/periods where they let the opposition score a few or ruin what looks set to be a monstrous win. Plenty of time left in this season to bury a few teams, if we’re good enough.
