Nah sorry, that’s what’s known around here as “a good team doing just enough to tick off the wins” but when we beat teams in the same way we’re pathetic. Oh and the Richmond loss is just a tough battle between top four sides, but for us it’s the Eagles shitting the bed again.

Geelong somehow stealing the Dogs game, stealing that game, the ARC s**t tonight vs in our games. Yeah we had two silly losses but we handled business like a top four side and a top four finish would have been justified. Due some luck in other results at some stage but probably won’t get them in finals so time to just take it over ourselves.

Not sure how we are complacent. We have lost 5 games. Three to teams above us. The other by 2 points. The GC loss was bad yes. But look at the teams above us. All of them have got away with some lucky scrapes here and there this season.

Its just frustrating that we are so quick to write off our club and don’t accept that maybe some luck has gone against us.

Weirdly I think with home finals past the first week out of the equation, assuming we win the first week, we could be better off finishing 5th. Extra week in Perth, give Gov another week to recover, etc. In any other season no way in hell. but this season? Maybe.

Goes back to the terrible goal line review against the Dogs. The line is the back of the padding on the post and there was no way the whole ball crossed that line. Barely past the skinny side of the post on one side only, and not the other post. Possibly cost you a season.

We won the most games in a row this year of any side and have won more games during Simpson’s tenure than any other club.

Haven’t checked the numbers but would surely be at more games since 2018 than any club too.

We’re not inconsistent or complacent, we’re ******* terrific and turns out winning week in week out in professional sport is often down to more than just “who wants it more”.

As stated before we don't play each game like its an elim final. How many time in the last 2 season have we just not turned up to very winnable games.
