Hawthorn ruckman Shaun Rehn is launching a supreme court case against the AFL, the SANFL and the Adelaide Crows over his knee injury in the first game of the Ansett Cup in 1999, where at a centre bounce, he slid across a bounce pad and broke his knee. He reckons he has lost confidence, lost faith in himself and his ability. He reckons he was the leading ruckman in the AFL at the time it happened and that injury has ruined his chance of playing for a few more years than what he can now, which means he has lost what could possibly of been millions of dollars in wages.
I can understand why he is sueing everyone...but youd think he would wait till after he retires.....if he goes ahead and sues the Adelaide Crows...i cant wait till the next Hawthorn v Crows match!!!
