Ben Reid getting sent overseas for help on his soft tissue. Let's get some.German calf blood in him.

Putting in here because it's pre season news. Should just make a thread but considering one will.be made anyway

Just read that.
Hopefully it fixes his soft tissue injuries for good.
Wonder how long it takes before he starts to see an improvement?

Don't know what took so long, I suggested it 3 weeks ago!!

'Reid will be treated by Doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt who is the club doctor for Bayern Munich.'

http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_...fahrta-great-healer-quack-hyperactive-syringe

"Healing Hans, as Muller-Wohlfahrt is affectionately known, ranks as either the greatest healer since Hippocrates or is a quack with a hyperactive syringe, depending on whom you believe."

"A lot of athletes know about him," she says of Muller-Wohlfahrt. "He is someone they trust."

Perhaps top among them is Usain Bolt.

Though he's not in the office this day, the name of the sprint king from Jamaica is dropped often. The doctor acknowledges his clinic has evolved into a haven for muscle-injured sprinters over the last two decades. To illustrate the point, Muller-Wohlfahrt brings up the IAAF World Championships held two summers ago in Berlin, claiming that five of the eight sprinters in the men's 100-meter final were patients -- led by Bolt who clocked a world record."

Sounds like we've brought out the big guns :D

A few more articles

And a vid

Only watched half, but his methods seem to have Athletes back playing high level sport only a few weeks after doing his thing, might see Reid back on the track early.

Pretty indifferent to this really, not like he'd be here training, but at the same time doctor's can only do so much.

Oh and he escapes Davoren's evil clutches for a few weeks.

About bloody time. It appears at times our club appears too stubborn to look outside for any answers.

We definitely have the cash.

Without being facetious, what do you suggest they do?

I'm glad they're not just sitting on their hands, got to at least try imo.

I said in another thread, about time we looked outside the box.

As a club, we sometimes think we have all the answers. That is Ed's influence.

We definitely have the money to explore all options.

Reid surely can't come back worse.

I have no issue with them doing it, it's more just I don't care this is happening as I'm skeptical about it achieving anything. Hence being indifferent :p

Quite a radical move that, could have sworn few people on here told us Reid wasn't injury prone..
There's no evidence to suggest he was injury prone prior to last season. Post-2014 then yes, he is now injury prone, and the present is all that matters. I, and many others, just get annoyed when people start making claims like: Reid has missed 10+ games every year and has never played fully fit since 2010, which is a load of garbage.
