Cheers heaps for the link and help although I'm still tripping. I'm starting to think that I may be doing something wrong while installing, should I be doing something that I'm not aware of ? Or maybe just forgot? I'm still getting the run-time error '3050' could not lock file. even on my laptop which I've never even played it on. I tried all the lists that were in there, couldn't get past pre season without getting the error. I've tried all the ffx links I could find and always get the same error so I guess it has to be a problem on my end right ? ? ?

Might be a bit late, i keep getting error '94' invalid use of null when i try to import the roster. it doesnt matter who i delete i rename them correctly and it keeps happening...am i missing something?
