always good to keep an eye on the new clubs you might come up against next season. its never good for a club to be relegated but I assume the worst drops are at the top and bottom end of the scale? after playing in A section Im sure no one wants to have all their hard work (of getting there) undone to drop down to B. and at the lower end its never great to be sitting in D4... as low as you can go. Ive always said though this system is great as there is no form of "tanking" when many clubs still have a lot to play for come the final round of the season as they sit in last place.
for us personally (bentleigh) its going to come right down to the wire as we battle it out in a 3-horse race and face fellow danger zone boys st marys in round 18...
good luck to all in their battle to avoid relegation and also for those in finals looking to take the step up.

B-grade is a 3 horse race down to Beauy, OM's & Caulfield... I'd say Beauy are gone, with the loser of the Round 18 clash b/w OM's & Caulfield to decide who joins them in C-grade in 09. OM's might need to pull another "Houdini" in r18 to avoid the drop.

guess the only clearcut division is d3 at the moment with both the universities dropping to d4 for 2009. we should all have a better idea of the others come 5pm tomorrow night.

but of course, football throws up many irregularities...
