Discussion Remaining Fixture

6 to go - finals in sight. 7 wins banked and 10 should get us there.

Essendon, Brisbane, Hawthorn, Melbourne, Giants and West Coast remain.

As optimistic as I am, I can not see us beating Brisbane nor WC.

I like our chances against the Hawks and the Dees.

Giants 50/50.

Makes this next game crucial - no better team to defeat to get u back on track.

Go Saints.

So we'll be playing Melbourne at Alice Springs after Brisbane.

Not sure how I feel a out that yet.

Should be a good experience for the indigenous boys and everyone else.

It's a must win game and Melbourne have played there a bit from memory
Id rather we weren't playing them there.
They play home games there every year so gives them a slight advantage.

That Melbourne game looms as a real danger game - they are building, although with all due respect, have beaten no-one the last two weeks. They have the Pies and Dogs in the next two.

I'm more worried about us making the 8 than where we can finish in the 8 at this stage so I'm hoping the Pies can beat Melboune this week.

Of the games we have left this is what I think the likelihood of winning is

Essendon - 70%
Brisbane - 25%
Melbourne - 60%
GWS - 40%
Hawthorn - 75%
WC - 30%

It may well come down to that Melbourne game in Alice to get us to 10 wins.

Essendon - 60%. We always have trouble against them, poor or otherwise.
Brisbane - 40%. We match up OK, but it's their home ground.
Melbourne - 85%. Ha Ha. Our Bunnies!
GWS - 40%. Team of champs, Cameron etc. Stop 1 or 2 and we'll take them.
Hawthorn - 70%. On the escalators, going down.
WC - 40%. Not at home, so a better chance than in the West.

Hes a chance to play this week apparently so he should be right by then unfortunately.

Hopefully he's not at his best though.
Just hoping it niggles on for a few more weeks.

We really couldn't have hoped for a better fixture than what we have.

The must win games from this point are Essendon and Hawthorn. We have multiple days more rest for each of them.

Eagles at the Gabba is a massive bonus. Four day turn arounds for both teams. Not expecting anything from that game but at least we don't have to go to Perth.

If we win the two we should, we'll probably make finals. Really should win one of the Demons/GWS game as well. We'll also have two days more rest than GWS.

If we don't make finals from here, it'll only be on us.

Hopefully we can sow up finals with wins over Bombers, Demons and Hawks before West Coast who we pay off a 4 day break.

West Coast play us off a four day break as well.
Not a bad fixture for us at all.
