so has this acquisition period ended? no more ins until the draft? has anyone told townsend he's cut?

Goes right through to 27th of november with breaks where it closes for no reason for one day on the 9th of november then closes again between 19th to 25th of november before re-opening for 2 days after draft. Townsend won't be delisted, he is contracted for next year.

That's why you wouldn't be a good coach. A good leader would get the best out of someone like Ellis rather than push him aside so they don't have to deal with him.
lol After 5 yrs a good coach and good club would have seen enough to know if a player can change.
people show they are blinkered when disposal stats rule their jdgement. the short steps the poor kicks the lack of courage to take the game on always going backwards or sideways, the turn overs the lack of tackling but hey he runs hard and gets his 20 plus cheap kicks a game he must be good.

What is the senior list size? 40 or 42 and then rookies? Only asking as in previous years we have always gone in with one senior player less so we can upgrade anyone through the year.

Why is Lambert being mentioned so often in this thread when Taylor Hunt is still on our list?
Poor list management re Hunt being contracted for 2 years towards the end of 2015. How a player with his kicking skills can be signed for 2 years just beggars belief but is one of the reason our list is in the poor condition it is at the moment.
Lambert is just another list clogger too imo. I know not everybody on the list is going to be a world beater but surely there's better options in the State leagues or U18 comps around the country.

Have you seen his Missus?

Personally, I think there are few more ahead of Lambert when it comes to delisting. He certainly hasn't been the most productive player on the list, but has shown enough throughout the last season to get a gig. I reckon we won NAB 5 against Carlton off his boot this year. I do acknowledge that he is probably at the peak of his powers.

Jeez, Batchelor didn't even butcher as many chances as Hunt has with ball in hand. While Hunt and Morris are probably at the same level skillwise, but atleast Morro plays with a bit of fire. If anyone should be going, it should be Hunt. I hear Geelong have an opening in their midfield and enough cap space to squeeze him in. :D
