Remember when SANFL Reserves were televised live? (A refresh on an old thread from the early 2000s)

I came across the "BIG FOOTY" site by accident when I was researching whether there was any on-line video content of SANFL (Norwood) Reserves matches played in 1979 and 1980 - the search identified the thread I have now "refreshed" here. My interest is purely selfish as I played in that time and, with VHS and Beta being "new technologies" back then, it wasn't common practice to privately record telecasts from the TV. If anyone has old tapes from those times I'd love to compare notes on any Norwood Reserves matches they have.
I hope I'm not abusing the privilege of being on the site(?)

Not sure if you were confusing the Chief's response with my initial post. If you meant to ask me, "Did I play any SANFL Reserves?" the answer is 'yes', around 40 games I think from late '78 through to 1980.
