Reminder about the Private Board

For those new to the board (well for this year anyway) this is just a reminder about our private board which is where we prefer to keep any "special" info. Cut and pasted from another thread:

Private Board

As you've probably seen, we're setting up a private board for lions supporters only, to provide a place where we can put training reports, contract news and other stuff. If you would like to gain access, it's a relatively painless process:

Click on MyBigfooty
On the Control Panel on the left-hand side, click on Group Memberships
Find "The Lions Roar
access to between the lions", select the Join Group radio button on the right-hand side, then click the Join Group button.
Wait for approval - this has to be done by a moderator so it could be 24-48 hours before you're granted access. Please wait that period before you fire off a PM to a mod asking why nothing's happening.

When you're granted access, you'll see the "Between The Lions" board along side The Den & Roster Watch.

There's no criteria you need to meet, other than we're convinced you're a Lions supporter. Don't be offended if we knock you back - you may just need to stick around and make yourself known for a while.

Board guidelines still apply, except the privacy issue will now be relaxed so we can report any little tidbits we hear, especially with respect to contract news. We still ask that you still be mindful of the privacy of players. We'll be playing this by ear slightly - the limit is a bit fuzzy, but we'll let you know when you've gone too far or are coming close to it. If you receive a yellow or red card anywhere on BigFooty you will automatically lose access for the period of that infraction. If you rack up a few cards from this point on, you may find that access to this board is premamnetly removed.

At this stage, no opposition supporters will get access.

If you don't get admitted, have a whinge to the mods (of which I'm no longer one). I mean really serve it up to them. Death threats, letter bombs, horse heads on the bed in the morning. They deserve it. Worthless petite bourgeoisie. Just another layer of fat ready to be trimmed.

That is incorrect. I'm not sure why you would assume a normal mod outranks a spectacular mod

Is probably one of two things...

1. Weevil, POBT, and LadyLawrence haven't had a chance to get to it yet.

If you have made a request to join, then it should be dealt with soon. I am having difficulties with it at the moment so will conveniently handball it over to the other mods.
