Will there be any reports out of Saturday's game?
I remember Scott Burns (I think) whacking someone around the head in around the second quarter. That seemed to excite everyone I was watching the game with.
From what I can remember of the incident, it seemed similar to the Cloke incident, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Leave the insults in your head by the way, this is a serious question and all you anti-Collingwood trolls can get stuffed!

Licuria for dropping his knees into Ackers near the boundary line.

Burns (was it him) for clipping Jon Brown on the side of the head after the latter took at mark.

Chris Johnson for crunching Fraser.

Ackers and Rocca for criticism of decisions made??

Licuria will miss acouple of early games for the knee in the head. One of the few things channell 10 did catch. Bad luck for Licuria. Burns will not get reported. It was an open hand that hit Brown, and Brown got back up. Chris Johnson is a maybe.

I hope no players go for the GF. There were plenty of opportunities for things to get ugly. Given the heat in the game I though a few isolated intances of limited effect were hardly something to get uptight about. I wouldn't think the AFL would want to draw attention to anything anyway. I didn't see the Licuria incident. I did see the Burns one and there wasn't much in it. The Fraser crunch was right in front of me. While I went off a bit at the time, it is not the sort of thing I would like to see a player miss games for given it was a GF and if the players were reversed I would be very dissapointed if my player didn't do the same thing. It was late and worth 50m. That is all. It's a grand final and you damn well go hard.

Hmmm, if only young Cloke had used an open hand and Edwards DID get back up.

I think Licuria has the perfect defence for kneeing Akermanis in the head. How could he miss?

Grand final duo to front Tribunal

Collingwood duo Scott Burns and Paul Licuria will have to front the AFL Tribunal Wednesday night over charges arising out of Saturday's grand final.

Burns has been reported on video evidence for striking Brisbane's Jonathan Brown during the second quarter of the Lions' nine-point victory.

Licuria will face a misconduct charge over claims he kneed Jason Akermanis in the third quarter.

The cases will be heard Wednesday night from 5pm.
