Got home rather tanked after drowning my sorrows Saturday night (and who wouldn't when you barrack for the Hawks - there were plenty of sorrows to drown).

Turned on the radio just in time to hear McAteer steer in the winner- GO YOU MIGHTY IRISH!

At least if the Aussies manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory again I should have someone to cheer for. What a fantastic effort - put in one of the hardest groups and they should now make it through. Let's just hope for a repeat of that famous scoreline Ireland 1 - Italy 0!!
