Probably not, given our riches of inside midfielders. Apparently they're working on him developing a bit of an outside game to complement his inside game, which the club is very happy with. He's supposedly making progress, which is good. I'm a fan, he's likely to get a 3rd year on the rookie list, but I'd be very surprised if he got a senior game this year.

Thanks very much, big fan of Dylan's from his days at the Bushrangers.

Would love to see him crack into the senior side one day. I wonder whether another club with fewer inside mids would be interested in him?

What the hell does TDL have to do to crack the bests?

Saw all the ressies\injured players sitting together during the Pies game, but couldn't spot TDL amongst them, I don't think.

Trouble in paradise?

Someone else at 'over there' said TDL was sitting behind them during the Pies game.

Another team in won't mean a stronger comp, it needs to make the clubs in it stronger.

Its also about making the league more attractive to entice gun recruits and keep the local talent ....well local.

Short term pain perhaps but the benefits should hopefully be rewarding for all.

Hang in there beds, looks like your boys could be in it for the long haul...jump and and embrace the ride.

Sydney Uni is apparently the other team invited to join the NEAFL. Perhaps .Shotties. or Stat can comment

How would this side go against Canberra sides?

I remember back in the day Campbeltown struggled in the Canberra comp.

Never made the finals in any of their years down here.

Hard to gauge but to give you some idea:

- Swans Reserves played East Coast in the pre-season and won 20.15 to 3.1
- East Coast played Port Magpies in the FOXTEL Cup and lost 16.11 (107) to 2.3 (15) (shortened quarters).

We did just win by a bigger margin against a Canberra team though.

Think USyd would definitely struggle though.

Hi to all you Sydneysiders. Was at the game on Saturday and it was my first taste of twos footy in NSW. Being involved at VFL level in Melbourne i must say that the sooner the swans enter the VFL the better. What a disgraceful performance by those Tigers. Seriously if No.29 is in their best 22 then i will walk nude to the Gulf Of carpenterier. He wouldn't get a game at local level twos until he dropped 25 kegs!
No opposition magnets on the boards couldnt see any stats floating around, coaching staff absolutely bereft of any ideas to stop the flood of forward 50 entries and no resemblance of any system whatsoever in their play.
i then find out that they are meant to be one of the better sides in the competition. Please say it isn't so!
Your competition needs plenty to get remotely close, and dont tell me that 4 or 5 players will make 30 goals difference.
i am seriously thinking of sending my resume to a few sides. Surely it is for the betterment of the Swans players and the detriment of the local comp to get them them into the VFL asap.

haha, leave me out of this. ABH i'm sure will have something to say about this. But i do agree, we should never have left the VFL.

To be fair, it is a while since we have seen a performance quite as inept as the Tigers dished up on Saturday. Even if you go back to the Swans' dominant seasons of a few years back, it was common that the margins tended to really blow out late in games when, understandably, the Swans' superior fitness really came to the fore. Last weekend it was utter domination and zero resistance right from the start.

Ah liz you just stole my thunder.

You picked a weird game to go to Big Jablonski. Tigers were undermanned and I just found out that the Tigers' coach had resigned before the game due to health issues so it was the new coach's first game in charge. You only have to go back to 2 weeks ago when we also played the Tigers and it was a much better effort.
