Just letting you know that the Lion Cubs are playing Morningside at the Gabba on Sunday morning at 11am, before the big game.

Hope to see all you guys out there early cheering these lads on.

There playing quite well at the moment, and I'd love to see the guys have a good win to get things started on the right track for the first game of the regular home and away season.

Judging by trial and pre-season results, they are certainly shaping up as the team to beat. Interesting that Southport's results are so shitty .... I was told by an unreliable source that they haven't once fielded more than a 3/4 strength side, but that remains to be seen.
