    Horrible news.

If you type in "Tony Greig" into twitter, the first mention of his passing is Clint Stanaway (approx 12 minutes ago), the one before that was Tony replying to KOK 6 days ago in a tweet. Eery.

    RIP

Hard to believe - gone so quickly.

Always loved baiting Greigy, and he could always take it and give it back. My very first ever day of test cricket was the day Hookesy sent him to the boundary 5 times straight in the Centenary test. Memories that will never fade RIP.

    That's heartbreaking.

Done so much for the game, just about everywhere. Cricketing world has lost a giant.

    RIP mate.

I am shocked. 66 is not that old but he was a heavy smoker during his life so another life lost to that foul weed. A true cricket icon and one of the pioneers of One Day Cricket along with Kerry Packer. RIP Tony Greig.

I always hated listening to his commentary as a kid, it seemed to me that he would take great delight in Australia's misfortunes of the 80's. But now... No more key into the pitch. Sad news.
