would you not agree that a head clash doesn't effect your running or fitness?

Ever seen a boxers legs go? Ridiculous comment and totally unfair. He came back on because he is a quality player with pride. Might be time for Juddy to stop self-diagnosing I'm thinking.

would you not agree that a head clash doesn't effect your running or fitness? Or do i need to highlight it in coloured writing for you to understand that question?

Not all head clashes have the same impact. Some can leave you dazed and then you feel Ok but you dont realise the effect it has until later.

If a rest will benifit him then give it too him. More use to us if hes 100% in 2 weeks than playing on 75% and driving himself into the ground.

I guess we should ask Henry Slattery whether a head clash affects your running or fitness. Maybe he was unfit going into the game as well.

There is a break after this week. He will play against Richmond.

According to Fev, Judd could barely even remember the game afterwards. How the F is he supposed to play anywhere near the standard we expect of him when he's been hit that hard and concussed to the extent he was?

We were lucky enough to have him stand up and stay out there for the team.

Far out.

I know the club denies he was injured last week, but he wasn't right and was taken to task byu an average footballer in Rhyce Shaw.

From the opening bounce today Judd couldn't, or didn't want to chase beyond jogging, and had no impact, and once again was made to look third rate by a second rate footballer.

Losing today all but stops any pipedream of playing finals. If we dish up more crap like that next week, we will be lucky to win again this year.

He needs a rest. Do it now, give him two weeks off before the Saints game and see if he can return fresh. WHy risk blowing him up for some bonus wins and risk his pre-season.

Bring in Pfieffer, Banno, or even give Blackwell or some other potential delistees a shot at saving their own skin and put Judd out for a short spell.

Outs: Judd (omit - rest), Carrazzo (omit - sorry Carrots, but you had a mare)

In: Pfieffer, Hampson.

NO - He said himself he isn't injured. Give him a rest in the split round :thumbsu::)

Doesn't want to make an excuse of it.

He is sore, and it is affecting him. Maybe the running in Port on a wet heavy ground pre-ceeded by a few games at the Dome.......but he was not 100% in the Pies game, and he was well below the run that he had shown even two weeks earlier vs the Cats.

IMO he looked sore today BEFORE the head clash.

And yes.........the head clash may well have affected his pace, coordination, concentration, reaction times.........all of the above.

But I think he was lame before this.

Anyways.......we move on.;)

Lloydies a diver but he's no thug.

Whoa back.

That's like saying you ACTUALLY believe that Fletcher just has awkward biomechanics and doesn't actually try and trip people.

In this instance,Lloyd was as open as Judd and there wasn't anything crude about it.........but the guy has form.......usually against us..........usually a cheap punch when the opponent least expects it........and he ahs done time over and over again for it.

I can recall a baby head-but but little else. He's no thug. Hasn't got the stomach for it.

For a while there he used to make an annual habit of punching Campo in the guts and would cop a week.......must have happened 2-3 times in a row.

Guess he would have to be sore what with all the contested ball he has been winning and the pulverising the opposition do to him

Campo probably deserved it. ;)

judd was owned yesterday, great job by Welsh, these two will play on each other for years to come.

Just calling it like i saw it, not a Bomber/Blues supporter, so no bias :) You guys should rest judd for the rest of the year.

I think he was at about 95% yesterday, looked pretty fresh. And there was no head knock, both players collided with their shoulders. Matthew Lloyd certainly wasn't affected.

I'm not optometrist...

but if you didn't see the head clash you should definitely have your eyes checked...

I'm no psychologist...

but if you think Welsh is capable of playing on Juddy in full flight, with his full fitness and running capacity you should definitely get your head checked...
