Few goals at Upton Park as well. Hammers were leading 3-0 after about 20 mins, Baggies ended up winning 3-4.

Never a calm moment for me with Carlo in the box I'm afraid. A more than capable backup but I wouldn't want him to have the no. 1 shirt full time. I presume Schwarzer is injured, if he was dropped for Carlo, McLaren has a screw loose. I wish him all the best, but I wouldn't like to be relying on Carlo to keep clean sheets weeke in, week out.

First Leicester, then Everton, then Arsenal and now Portsmouth... that's Leeds redefining the term "living a nightmare". Seriously, relegation is now a distinct possibility on that display and others I've seen on them. There's still a few decent players left in their side, but are they up for it? And how long will Peter Reid last now?

Leeds will go down. Dead last.

And become Fiorentina, Part 2.

Seeing Fiorentina had to re-start in Serie C2 (Division Three level), which is a higher level than most bankrupt clubs usually have to re-start in italy, what will happen to Leeds if, for example, they are refused a license for league football? Would they be forced to re-start in non-League football?

If Leeds are refused a license to the Football League then they'd restart in the Unibond Premier Division, a step down from the Football Conference, joining such teams as Worksop Town, Gainsborough Trinity and Blyth Spartans.

Fiorentina could only go down one more level to Serie C3, but that'd be ridiculous ... but I still found it funny what happened to them, I feckin' hated Fiorentina.

Very disappointing result for us at the Custard Bowl, to take the lead and then let it go - infuriating! Particularly against the Dingles who are rubbish. Typical, tight West Midlands derby though, a draw wasn't too unexpected. Play like that against Arsenal & Liverpool next up though and we are pharked. Still, on the bright side we are halfway to survival already (20 pts up), 5th in the league and most important of all we didn't lose to the filthy fools gold Yam Yams.

The next level down from C2 is Serie D, an amateur league which consists of 9 groups of 18 teams each (162 in all). Below that is the Eccelenza, and then Promozione. The eighth to tenth levels are called First, Second and Third Category.

Usually a bankrupt club will have to re-start as low as Eccelenza, which is the 6th level comparable to the Northern, Southern or Isthiman leagues.

They'd never send Fiorentina down that far, that would've just been cruel.

Clubs like Pisa, Catania, Messina, Ternana and Taranto (with the exception of the last, all have been in Serie A at one time or another) all went through that but have climbed their way back up.

idiot. as has already been mentioned, liverpool are not over-rated. liverpool are having a bad year but will finish at least 14 places above leeds.

Schwarzer had an illness in the family, Carlo while a groovester won't get a look in.

And it was a good win by Boro, we are starting to run things around. Mendieta has been awesome and now with Zenden coming into form we can hopefully start climbing the ladder. Our defence and midfield are doing well, we just need someone up front to start knocking them in. Play Juninho as a striker, he'd do better then the other trash

An idea worth trying would be a 4-2-3-1 formation, in which you'd have just one out-and-out striker supported by three attacking midfielders. This might mean that Boateng, Doriva, Mendieta, Juninho and Zenden would be accomodated in the one team.
