Car would be my regret. Sinking $70 a tank to get 270kms for 14 years....wow what a dill

Got a Corolla now and it's 500kms for $50 and shit is great

Yeah, both my cars are bad with their mileage. I worked out the math though and it would only save me about $600-700 a year. Not worth sinking $20k on another car to get that back.

Was fully expecting to come home tonight and add my $450 ($800 in Aus) robot vacuum to this thread after scheduling a clean at 2pm. The floor is completely clean throughout the whole house and all the dog hair is gone!

Living the mother****ing dream!

Cool! What's make and model? We have a dog, cat and 1 year-old making a mess. I'm sick of vacuuming.

Neato XV-21 pet and alergy model. Retails for $800 in Australia but got it for $435 through Amazon including postage. There is a massive thread about it on Whirlpool if you want to look at reviews etc. I've got a Golden Retriever and it make short work of his hair which will be good when our third come along and starts crawling.

I regret working in retail.

One of the toughest jobs ever, on your feet all day, ungrateful bastard customers, lousy pay, and the ****ing Christmas shopping hours

The only plus were the discounts.

Clearly never done any labouring before! But nah you couldn't pay me near enough to work at a retail store around Xmas time.

Didn't watch it, I would imagine that you could make a lovely home out of an old pub though, I've seen some nice jobs done deconsecrated churches too.
I don't miss the long days, that's for sure, but looking back on it, I made some enduring friends, it's just if I had my time again I wouldn't do it.

My Grandfather ran a pub for years, had some good stories come out of it and met some pretty interesting people. Definitely took its toll on him I'm told.

slushie machine, all it did was make the drink go flat

Me and my siblings/girlfriend usually pitch in and buy my mum a new kitchen gizmo for her birthday each year. She's got a soft-serve machine, a slushie machine, a donut maker, a soft-drink maker, and a bread maker. Hardly use any of them after the first few goes.

The Rock Band package with all the instruments. It just felt all a bit sad with my friends over playing it.

Good choice, i got the game plus full band kit after trading in a few games (this was a win for me back then as the value of the games was less than the entire rock band kit + game combo AND i also had enough credit afterward to buy that year's COD, Gears of War 2, WWE Smackdown, Guitar Hero soon after).

I rarely setup the drums, and mostly focused on playing with the guitar. Even then i didn't use it that much, i have not touched it in 3-4 years.............. but i refuse to throw it out (despite it taking up a lot of space in my bedroom making it an obstacle course to get to bed) in case i ever change my mind and want to give it a bash. I used the wireless guitar from GH III and the Logitech wireless guitar more often than i did the Rock Band instruments.

Trying to think of the last time i played a Rock Band or Guitar Hero game, i never finished GH: World Tour or Greatest Hits, but i did complete Metallica, Band Hero and Lego Rock Band.
