Return Nathan Brown as a key forward?

We have seen it happen before, players returning from long term injuries being trialed somewhere else on the ground, so could be give Brownie a go as a Full Forward? He was drafted as a versitile Key Position player and i dont remember him playing games up forward at senior level, Just a thought so dont bite my head off.
Couldnt help to feel sorry for the big fella on the club, hopefully a 100% recovery for a solid 2015 for big Nath!

But why would we even attempt to place Brown up forward, when his form down back (when he's not injured) has been servicable at worst, and Reid has shown to be the possible X factor we need up forward.

He's available to play on Hawkins in the 2011 GF and we are on 16 flags, he's that important!

For the record, i dont want this to be a BringBackBrad Cloke to defense senario, and i wont slam bucks for not putting brown up forward and claim that im "always right about these things". Just a suggestion.

Well i just think Reid is a better Defender than Brown, and if Brown were to go forward and be a good second target to allow Reid to become that rebounding defender down back that could benefit us better than Brown being a servicable shut down defender who picks up 5-10 touches with Reid up forward. Keep in mind i dont think this should happen, nor do i think it will, but if Brown were to play forward and be servicable to let Reid go down back, it could save us the guilt of playing an All Australian CHB as a second key forward.

Was more going for players that are key position players, and yeah Elliott in there might sound weird but he is our leading goal kicker. I see Langdon going into the midfield from next year on and don't see Martin in our forward setup next year unless we have a huge amount of injuries.

Good point. Love Browny, courageous as they come but wouldn't have the spring or speed on a lead I wouldn't think. It's possible, if you look at his twin West Coast built him lighter but prefer our solid rock version. Except his shoulders seem to be held together by tape...
