How does this compare to Hades? Bloody loved Hades and sunk a lot of hours into it. Like these kinds of games - Binding of Isaac is another I loved.

It’s amazing, high budget, slick Rogue like that includes an awesome sci fi horror aspect. I recon the most next gen game so far with sound design/controller feedback adding to it.

I’ve put in 100 hours and it makes you feel like a beast once you skill up and understand the game.

Co-Op has been great fun, was able to match up with people around the world, lag isn't bad either. Was fun helping others do bosses they were stuck on.

Also the new Tower arcade mode is great fun and there's more lore, which is a surprise.

Well good news now is Returnal will be free in a couple of months on the new PS+

Now that I'm done with Elden Ring I've been able to get stuck into the Tower of Sisyphus. It's so ****ing good, exactly what I wanted them to add given their previous titles, an awesome score attack mode. Some of those scores up the top of the leadboard are absurd though. I think I'll be happy if I can get a top 500 score.

Started yesterday. kept making little mistakes on the first boss when he had about 15-20% on his 3rd phase. then first run today cleared it.

I realised yesterday after starting a coop game that I never actually finished this. I think I switched to Hades and got hooked on that and never returned. Will certainly start sinking more hours into it again.

I have no idea how some of those people are getting such high scores on the tower of sisyphus. I got like 24million which I thought was pretty awesome and then I see it only got me to like the 575th top score. The skill level needed to get over 100mil or more is inane to me.

Just started this today. A lot to take in initially I feel as though the game introduces 100 different ideas all at once.

Like Hades I’ll do minimal googling and just play the game and learn that way. Really enjoyed my first hour of it.

Just finished this, 35 runs but weirdly enough I only made it out of the first area 3 times in total

2nd boss fight definitely the highlight

This game is so addictive. beat act 1 and 2. once i got a good hang on the weapons, movements and enemy types/attacks it became so much fun. and understanding that some loops are destined to fail because of bad RNG luck on weapons or room placement.

I still need to get true ending, but I just couldn't be ****ed spending so much time trying to find the sun fragment in biome 6. The RNG is insanely annoying since it can be in any room and was taking away from my enjoyment of it.

I'm enjoying playing again. I'm glad it came to this new PS+ thing so more people get a chance to play. I'm surprised how many people didn't play it from release. It's top 2 of my favourite PS5 games with Elden Ring. Probably number 1.
