I feel as though we could introduce the WASO version as like an epic pre game song that the fans could slowly sing.

Keep the song just rework it with different intruments/singer and remove that terrible 'hey eagles' bit.

Just needs to have been recorded better. I never appreciated it until recently. Imagine bikini clad women on roller skates bringing out the team with disco moves.

We'd need serious options before just a petition. Then likely have to forgo copyright to the club. Maybe for a note.
I'd prefer we stole our theme from a regime that wasn't comically inept, but an old-school type song like what GWS went with would be 100x better than anything we've ever had.

Whoa, we're nowhere near as bad as Fascist Italy was; that's more like Freo in their first 15 years.
We got the wings back, time to petition for a better song? Don't mind the original but the verses don't fit these days. Needs to be fleshed out and that awful Wiggles-like riff gotten rid of. Should be stirring at least... I liked the amped up chorus of the original but definitely needs to be modernised. Something to work with though.

The current on is just so pedestrian, its almost as bad as the Shockers.
Agree with the modernised element, but as I said in the OP, it unpacks the foundations of us as a club which I think is important.
I hope we never go back to the original. It's so embarrassing to listen to verses that revolve around WA's inferiority complex and obsession with Victoria.
