I thought our young blokes did really well on Sunday.
It was our older blokes who let the team down.
Browny worked his arse off and did some good things, but also made a few terrible blunders.
Jed Adcock needs to worry less about trying to pick a fight and stop his man from getting the ball.
Always been a big fan of Adcock's but he tried my patience many a time on Sunday.
Blacky has no awareness out there. Too many times getting caught holding the ball. Maybe there's no voice/support for him?
Jack Redden burns the ball too much. Can't believe people thought he was our best.
Rockliff is too hit and miss and goes quiet for too long.

Raines was our best. Completely shut Kerr out of the contest until he did his hammy and then went to Priddis and Gaff (I think) with less success.
Hanley was one who really tried to lift us in the 2nd half with his run off half back, but had no support.
Really missed Drummond back there. His presence takes a lot of pressure off Harwood.
McKeever was beaten early but came back, while Patfull was the opposite.
Didn't mind the efforts of Crisp, Wrigley and even Hawksley.
Yeo was probably the best of the young 'uns though.

Seriously hate Darling, someone needs to fix that actor right up. What was with the Eagles supporters booing Brown for being on the end of Glass' thuggery? Never seen anything like it, a complete 180 on reality.

Every time he got tackled it was an automatic throw-back of the head. Wanted to kick his teeth in.

I thought Adelaide crowds were the worst (experienced many of them in my time), but West Coast take the cake. Hats off to the umpires on the weekend who didn't succumb to their incessant booing.

That's the first time I have ever seen a hats off for umpire Nicholls.

On a related note, you would think that he would be leaving his hat on usually. Sunburn on head, etc.

One of the few times I've been impressed with umpiring in our games this year.

There's the forgotten factor. He must've had the day of his life with the boos being directed at him. Christmas come early.

We did get the better side of the umpiring - but not by a huge margin. Nicholls was very surprising in the decisions he paid towards us in particular.

Perhaps Voss's decision to go public about the umpiring of Brown and Black paid off (at least for one week). Brown in particular got a couple of frees that he wouldn't normally get.

To be honest, being at the game, I hardly noticed the umps. The actual funny thing was watching Eagles fans having complete breakdowns when we were awarded a free and they were 10+ goals up. You see it all when you go to some venues in WA/SA and Vic, but there were instances on Sunday that you could only laugh at some of their fans when the game was so far in the bag it wasn't funny. I'm just surprised people have the energy to make such tools of themself.

Never underestimate the blind enthusiasm of cashed up bogans.
