With the Magenta’s being out of the SANFL this year, can we now recognise that they are dead and have been for the last 25 years. The whole thing about a proud stand-alone club has gone out the window. As far as it seems now, or as actions have dictated, the “Magpies” are, at best, a merger between the SANFL entity and the the AFL power—ie. established in 1995. No less of a franchise than the Crows. The Collingwood rip-off port have been dead for a long time.
