I love the lyricism in Pretty Pimpin I posted by Kurt Vile above. Especially the line "like a son of a gun". It took me back to Nirvana's album incesticide and the song by the same title. A song resplendent in all it's grungy, poppy, fuzz pedal glory. Have alway's loved this tune.

Nirvana - Son of a gun

My two boys and I have been playing this song a lot lately........I love this bloke.

Such a fun song and sums him up
well.....enjoy.

You all practicing those moves too?:p

I’ve just got home from the MSO at Hamer Hall.
A good night. Mahler’s symphony 9, then finished off with a bit of GM:)
Eat your heart out ottoman :D

My boys were too cool to dance with Dad tonight.

My daughter came in and saved the day.
She loves dancing like her dad & mum.

Don’t worry about the Turk M G that GM closet door doesn’t close anymore. :p

Glad you had a good night with the MSO........apparently they are doing a concert with Arman Van Helden. o_O

Google him......brings back some flashbacks when I was in my prime.

2010 was an incredible year for me.

Turned 30
Saw George Michael in his last Australian tour on my first wedding anniversary in Sydney (the best concert of the 3 reportedly)
Collingwood won the flag
Building commenced on my first home

Love it Ed.

Funny story but I was also at the Sydney concert and my bro and Electrician were calling me during the concert.......I couldn’t hear anything after several calls.

Apparently my restaurant was burning down  .......anyway walked back to my mates house in Sydney and got the first flight out.

Best concert I have ever been to even after I figured out what happened back home.

He is a legend in my eyes.

That concert was in January

A bit more of a downer but a very important song for me. Powerful.

[Bridge]

See things do come around,
and make sense eventually,
Things do come around,
but some things trouble me

[Chorus]
The people I've met and the places I've been,
are all what make me the man I so proudly am,
But I want to know one thing, when did I become a ghost?
