Analysis RFC List Depth 2018

Post draft ive been having a good look at the demographic of our list, and the type of depth that we currently have. Obviously, not all of the draftees will turn out to be regular senior players, but even so we have some seriously good depth now. I cant help but remember the days of having guys like M Thomas, R Petterd, N Gordon, etc as our depth, and realizing how well the recruitment team has done since then to not only win a flag but improve our depth significantly since then.

When i do my version of our best 22 for round 1 next year (barring form and health obviously) i have some seriously decent players missing out, guys like:

Broad (stiff), Miles, Lloyd, Conca, Castagna, Townsend, C Ellis, Markov, Short, Stengle

And thats not to mention the other very handy depth players such as Hampson, C Moore, Soldo, etc.

Adding 6 young prospects in Naish, Balta, Higgins, CCJ and Miller (and now D Smith) to that depth is extremely impressive, hats off to our list management team!

What are your thoughts on our depth going forward?

Have had this prepared since prior to the draft and now that the rookie draft is done and the list completed hopefully people can use it when looking at creating their best 22's and also looking at changes for the end of the 2018 season.
