I recon a lot of you out there owe Rhyce an apology for the bagging you have given him the past year or so. No one has had a good word to say about him and it's time to give credit where it's due.

I know he's playing good footy at the moment, but tell me you don't feel like dropping him when he runs in at goal and kicks it out on the full from straight in front...
His flaws are still there, and they are frustrating, but I'm happy to see him doing well right now.

You actually have to do something with the possies when you get them. Rhyse Shaw is just the barometer of how average we are at the moment when Rhyse Shaw is your best player you know your not traveling along that well.

Doesn't help if the rest of the team is playing s**t. Some of the so called stars (Tarrant) could get their fingers out of their ar$e$ and start playing good footy.

Good effort with the Tarrant kick. Had the option to handball or kick in a hurry, (both options would have caused a typical Rhyse-like turnover) but chose to take on the opponents and kick long to Tarrant, one-out.
Great to see Rhyce doing better. His pace is important. His disposal is still shakey though but he has got some confidence back now and is playing accordingly. He's a big chance at the Copeland at this stage. Would have been able to get huge odds at the start of the season.

I will stand by that statement, but hopefully not by the end of the year. He has been our most consistent performer, plays with his heart pinned on his Collingwood guernsey, has never given up a chase, his skills are improving every week, and his confidence is growing by the day.
(Even though this does not matter as his disposals can be inneffective, but Rhyce Shaw is #7 in AFL for Disposals, with 140. He is pretty much even with Judd, and is ahead of the suprise packet Lindsay Gilbee, just thought I would mention it.)
