Yeah, that is awesome. He is buff, lost all his puppy fat, no signs so far of loss of pace, pre-cautionary pre-season, will be a late-starter, but in the seasons long term it is the right thing!

Would lack of pre-season training be the thing here? The thing I am worried about is having front runners playing well if the Pies play well, and therefore, Rhyce will struggle to get into the side and fulfil a senior place in the 18 let alone 22. A Round 1 start I hope!

Hope he returns to where he left off. He almost and would have got 40 possessions on ANZAC day had he not being knocked out by Mark Johnson.

Well, we're only talking the first 4 rounds, and say we win 3 of the first 4, I could see how it might happen. However, if Rhyce Shaw puts in a game at Willy, he'll leave no doubt as to why he needs to be in our senior side.

yeah, it is just a point of incase something along those lines happens. Shaw had a great season last year, and with him sidelined early and players who are in and out whether they are inconsistent or injured players of yester-year(s) step up, Shaw will be limited to game time aswell as maybe fighting for a senior spot.

Let's hope not, but let's hope everyone chips in at the same time
