Used to play seniors up my way, then went to the SANFL. Great player.

It’s comes back to the same argument regarding the promotion of young player, how that player is performing at the time.
If Andrew McIntyre is burning up the SANFL for North Adelaide and we need a defender, he should be promoted, especially if his form at the time is better than John Hinge or Luke Jericho’s.
If his form is good enough to warrant selection and he has shown he is good enough to come into the side and make a contribution, up grade him.
Not all people come good. Even when we said Stevens was crap, NC gave him a game. Not Jericho though.Scotty Stevens copped non-stop crap from everyone but he came good, he always showed the signs, he just needed to be enriched that little bit more. Continue I shall, to maintain that Jericho has got his assets and that's why he is still on the list. We may yet be pleasantly surprised and really, how stupid will you all look if he rises to play a key role for us this year at some stage a la S. Stevens? Not saying he will, just that he isn't an entirely lost cause. Not yet.
Jericho>MeesenJericho is pure rubbish, and is simply wasting a spot on the list.

Yep, I agree with you. Good point.
My gut feeling on McIntyre, having watched him in all games against the Eagles in the SANFL last year, is that he isn't that good. I think he is flat footed and lacks any penetration in moving the ball forward. What I think he does do well, is hit a target (usually short and sideways) and take the right option in traffic when in defence.
He is still very young and does have potential, as does Jericho and Hinge. I'd be surprised if any of these make it to 50 games for the AFC.
I think Archard could potentially be a very good player and would expect he could make an impact (similar to Porplyzia) with the Crows this year. Obviously Archard and McIntyre a different types of players and the Crows may be better off having an average tall rather than a good small on their list.
You are just a biased Eagles supporter who is whinging that Zac Hier didn't get picked up. McIntyre is a class act and will play more than 50 games for the Crows. He probably won't get much of a go this year, he is still young but he will play a lot of AFL footy.

You've seen more of him than me, so you'd probably know better. I didn't rate Bock at all neither and he has come on well so of course I can be proven wrong.Jericho>Meesen![]()
