Very interesting from The Pyschologist on TC- good source, was at the Spirit of Carlton Golf Day

Played Golf with Rhys yesterday. Sporting the best handlebar moe I have seen. Has lost 5-6 kilo's and as fit as he has ever been. Will be drafted as a rookie on Tuesday and keen as ever. Loves the Carlton Football Club. Looks to be playing wing next year and has had a lot of support from Ratts. Feels he needs to play around 15 games in Bullants next year to show his worth.

Really good kid, hope he makes it! :thumbsu:

'Wing' may be code for 'we want to use this guys' foot skills going into the forward line'. maybe they just want him to have an enjoyable year of footy after a couple of rough ones with injury.

Ive been a fan since watching one bullants game only. Kicks like Josh Hunt.

follow up comments as well

michaelcjordan:mad:emydura5 Was good. O'Keeffe BOG Bray & McCarthy showed some good signs. Some good young Ants players too.

ROK would be a massive bonus if he can stand up. Has the weapons to play AFL. Just needs the body to stand up and fitness ofcourse

The build-up thus far has been a good one. A couple of very minor niggles have come along the way, but O'Keeffe has delighted Bullants coach Darren Harris and the senior coaches with his application and professionalism. He's running games out well, doesn't let his opponent get the upper hand, has improved his endurance and speed and has been a consistent performer wherever he's been played. He may have been quiet in a few games - but let's not look at possessions - let's look at whether or not he's fulfilled his team role. As a non-Bullants supporter, but interested onlooker - I reckon he has.

That's my bandwagon. :D

Been impressive and finally strung some games together. Was a little worried during the 1st quarter when he hurt himself but was pivotal in the win.

Doc made a good point that he's really well suited to the sub role. If we were to include him though, it would have to be this week or next...after that you'd think too many are pushing for selection in the same spot.

Apologies for butting in, but has ROK been put back up to the senior list?

I've seen him a couple of times this year and he looks good. May be over his injuries and ready to go again.

Was very good last Sat. against Geelong.
