  • Police believe Ricardo Barbaro could be travelling in his white 2009 Toyota Hiace van with the registration 1OZ 8PC
  • Mr Barbaro is about 185 centimetres tall with a solid build, black hair and olive complexion
  • Police have warned anyone harbouring or assisting Mr Barbaro could face criminal prosecution

Detective Inspector Tim Day said Ms Price died in violent circumstances and had likely been assaulted on Tuesday or Wednesday of last week.

"The investigation thus far is indicating Ellie may have suffered an assault at that time and she [her body] may have been in those premises for a number of days, perhaps five days," he said.

"She's suffered a significant assault."

Police have been seeking Ricardo Barbaro for questioning and her Mercedes, which was found in Diggers Rest.

Here's his head, probably won't be long now before they've got him.

A big price to pay for dating a loser

1 woman a week is killed by their partner or ex. Perhaps dating known criminals who have no respect for the law or others, should have been a warning sign.

exactly right, i get that dating a bad boy might seem appealing to some girls but someone who uses violence to get his way is always going to end up going pear shaped

Okay okay, we can all make shitty choices so let's not make this about it being her fault. She's been beaten to death and whoever killed her is a murderer.

We don't know the circumstances either.
100% not her fault only one person to blame here and thats the heartless coward that did it, but there are warning signs there as with other murders committed by violent loser partners that other women can learn from

I would go further

If a director can be criminally responsible for an “accident” in the work place. It raises the concept of criminal negligence that should apply to all of us. Is dating someone or worse having kids with someone, who had a record or history for DV negligent?

We also have laws for receiving stolen goods or proceeds from criminal activity. So how can a partner accept funds or goods from a bikie or mafia?

So why shouldn’t the partner of a known criminal not be charged with receiving proceeds of crime? Why shouldn’t they be responsible for the death of their kids?

If we started holding up these principles in law, perhaps we would see a dramatic decrease in organised crime. Who would be a bikie or mafia knowing it resulted in a life of celibacy.

DV victims are victims and deserve sympathy and justice but partners of criminals are still negligent and are accountable for their decisions regardless of being a victim or not. These are two separate issues and need to be assessed as such.

have seen way to many vulnerable misguided young girls think the crime lifestyle is cool and get killed by violent partners and that's not counting those that survive but cop awful beatings, here's some free advice: if they have a history of violence especially against previous partners: run,if they are a bikie or crim covered in tatts and do drugs or get violent when drinking: run

When you say grandson of Pasquale Barbaro you need to more specific, there’s about 15 Pasquale Barbaro’s in that ndrine.
regardless of the grubs surname or who he is related to if someones main form of income is from the proceeds of crime this should set off warning bells, but again the female should not be blamed as these lowlifes are very good manipulators

would be pretty straight forward and all too common: pretty girl meets "diamond in the rough" boy who has lots of money and flash toys, heard rumours boy has temper but is always good to her and people don't know the real him like she does, boy starts being controlling and jealous and violent to girl she wants to get out but domestic violence order won't do any good finally has had enough or gets courage to leave especially if children are involved, girl ends up dead should have listened to other people or that little voice in her head
