Brown, Black and Power as your 3 top vote getters

Club is going to be struggling big time in a few years.

Except for the fact that we already have 2 kids under 22 years of age who have equalled or outpolled your best player.

****ing ouch son!

But once again, its intensely amusing to see a Melbourne supporter talking about "a few years time".

It's never now... its always the past or the future. Living for dreams that never eventuate, and sustaining yourself on tattered hand-me-down memories that happened before you were born.

What a horrible existance you peons live.

Heavens, noooo!!!!

What are you all saying... that players from the club that finished bottom during the season DON'T poll huge numbers in the Brownlow?

I'm so shattered to hear this, I shall be in a state of utter depression for weeks... :D

Well yeah... that is a good one!

Isn't it embarrassing that a player who's had much more experience playing at senior level, who's been on a full training regime this year... and played more then THREE times as many games during the season, just barely outpolled an 18-year-old school kid on a modified training regime who's only played 3 games?

Not our problem you drafted the wrong bloke.

TBN in for another one of his characteristic West Coast arse licking sessions.

Indeed. As I've said to you before... plenty to like about the West Coast Eagles Footy Club.

Love the way they go about it.

Winning culture > picks.

Shrewd recruiting > blowing first round picks on skinny project players with no desire or love for the game.

Money > no money.

Spectators turning up > spectators not turning up

Excellent talent development > development graveyard

Certainly this has to be one of the more desperate displays of stupidity we've seen from Duritz's Dregs.

They actually seem to think we're terribly surprised and downhearted that our players didn't poll enormous numbers in the Brownlow during a season in which we finished bottom.

Methinks Nose must've got into Kerr's secret stash on one of his pilgrimages to North Bunbury, and started sharing it around...

Um, Naitanui had an interrupted pre-season and modified training regime too mate.

And a ruckman getting a vote is pretty damn rare. You should know who was the last ruckman that won one.

Well he still has far more senior experience and has played three times as many games this season.

So I'd have thought you'd at LEAST expect him to outpoll Watts, wouldn't you?

Two game wonder Rich

Was absolutely robbed in the Kangas game at the Dome.

Beams played six less games and still only finished one behind Rich.

Quality player Beams. :thumbsu:

Be careful though, you've stumbled into a thread where Wonaeamiri33 is fighting a one man battle to push shit up hill. You may end up with a friend for life, whether you want it or not. He leaps onto potential allies like an excitable daschund.

Good lord no. I rate Rich, and was surprised he only got six votes.

NN polled in his fourth game or so if I remember correctly, key forwards always poll more well than ruckmen as a genearl rule (hint - Jim Stynes was the last one to win one and there have been barely any in VFL/AFL history), and Watts still played a lot of under-18 football. Like NN - who didn't exactly play a good full season in the WAFL this year either.

True... but I don't think any of us would've expected NN to poll less than Watts mate, given that, as I said, he's not had much training yet, is still in school and has only played 3 games so far.

The worst I could've seen NN doing in that comparison would've been if he ended up also on 0 votes.

But good on him for having got one...

Love the way that question was worded by the way... I see what you're doing there Grim ;)
