If you were referring to Tom's quote, it was pretty tongue in cheek...
That aside, the Longer play was the guess at the time as we already had Leuenberger, but given they then overlooked Grundy five times I think they mean what they say with their plan - ruckmans take longer to develop and there's no guarantees, so they'd rather trade for one that's in line with the kids' development this year rather than be stuck waiting for them to hit their stride. It'll really depend on who, if any, they manage to pick up this trade period.
