Yes, absolutely. One of the conditions of (chief executive) Greg (Swann) joining the group, one of the conditions of (Chris) Judd joining the group was that I stay. I agreed to stay for at least two years, maybe longer. Judd made a statement - the reason he came to Carlton was because he saw opportunities here, particularly in big business with Dick Pratt.



How can you not love him!! Hope he remains cancer free and in charge of this great club for a long time to come!!

Yeah it wasn't a bad quote from Woosha. He possibly had two reasons to get Judd to the Blues once Judd wanted out:

1. Soft spot for the Blues
2. Couldn't stomach seeing Judd in a Pies jumper

Realistically you couldn't blame him on both counts.

Amazed in that article that the Visy sponsorship of the shorts is worth $1.5M a year. That is almost quadruple what a shorts sponsorship deal is worth. Staggering.
