The rights belong to Richard Stremski, not his estate because he is not deceased.Would probably have to buy the rights from the estate.

Technically you would be correct if the poster used the expression “the estate of the late...”The rights belong to Richard Stremski, not his estate because he is not deceased.
I don't disagree, but since estate means a person's disposable assets less liabilities it is generally used to refer to a person either deceased or bankrupt.Technically you would be correct if the poster used the expression “the estate of the late...”
That is pretty much it; I was actually going to mention bankruptcy but went the shorter post.I don't disagree, but since estate means a person's disposable assets less liabilities it is generally used to refer to a person either deceased or bankrupt.
Thank you, but the time for an update was in 2010-11.That is pretty much it; I was actually going to mention bankruptcy but went the shorter post.
Very good book. In my view, the best I’ve read on a sports club actually. Well written. Good research.
Pity it’s never been extended to today’s time; maybe when we win this year the lot, it would be an ideal time to update.
Thank you, but the time for an update was in 2010-11.
Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated. Are you a relation?
Very good.Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated.
Thanks, but that's not on my agenda.Very good.
I am expecting plenty of in depth analysis throughout the season from a seasoned professional.
Bugger. Thanks, but that's not on my agenda.

I hate you!!!Stoked to report that a hardcover copy finally fell my way for $3.99.
I hate you!!!
I've been trying to get one for a while. After seeing your post I went onto eBay & put a $50 offer on paperback.
Accepted.
You lucky, lucky bastardo!!

Lucky you! The secondhand book market is so fickle. I was chasing a copy of a 1990s book on Australian architecture last year, where the price ranged from $40 something to over $600! I had to wait a while but I eventually landed the $40 version (a bit dog-eared and spotty). I was also buying for the content and not the condition, which is what the true collectors chase.
Which architecture book was it? I nearly bought a book by Erwin Panofsky yesterday (for what he has to say on gothic cathedrals) but within a minute of reading it I was sneezing so I let it go: there's only so much dog-eared-and-spotty I can endure.
The market can indeed be fickle. I am after a book in a series which I have seen go for $200 (other volumes can be bought for under $10); I found a copy for about $70, but the seller eventually contacted me to say that the book was not in a condition to sell. I can, I believe, get everything in the book in an e-copy, but as it's part of a series, and I'd love to have every volume in that series on my shelf. Some volumes I haven't seen since their original issue twenty years ago, so, as you say, as a true collector, I'm getting them anyway I can.

I buy a lot of books on-line, mainly because you just can't get hardcover versions of most of the books I buy any other way. I buy a lot through Abe books. Give it a whirl. Generally good quality but you do get the very occasional re-cycled library book, or large print version, wrongly tagged.
