To Essendon, according to channel 10 news. Obvious choice I guess considering his connections at that club and maybe a gamble on Sheeds love of aboriginal players. Thoughts?

The Dogs are also interested. Trade off on either club and get the best deal. Second round pick. He's not a dud, he's just had an off year.

i dont knwo if he is contracted, but there is no way he is worth a 2nd round pick i wouldnt trade him for anything less than what we paid for him!

we'll never ever get a first round pick for him, not a snowflakes hope in hell. If we hold out for that he'll be in the PSD before you can blink

cole to essendon = star, bargain pickup, massive mistake by collingwood
cole to bulldogs = dud, waste of space and money at two clubs, massive trade blunder by the doggies

I'd bet on Carlton lining someone up, then Cole would have to go through us and Hawthorn to get to the Bummers.

Hoggy's idea seems like the best solution, or alternatively, for the Bummers sekkund round pick.

Its not a case of him demanding, its a case of us making the trade happen. I can see this happening:

Pies: "We'll trade you Cole for your first round pick"

Dons: " har har har, we'll trade you our 3rd round pick"

Pies: "You must be kidding, he was pick 11 a few years ago"

Dons: "So? whats he actually done?, we'll throw in Cupido"

Pies: "Done"

Richard Cole is nothing but a fat ********, he can go wherever he likes. We would have to get a pick in the top 20 for him though.

Dreaming.

What position does he play?

Loose checking defender? Soft outside midfielder with no engine?

What's his value?

You spend more time on here than your own board.

I guess you like mixing with passionate people rather that that sterile lot on your own board

Big Mistake to let go of Cole.
Just remember a few years back, a player of the same build exactly named Mal Michael was given to Brisbane and look how they developed him.
Cole has room for a lot of improvement and thats why the Dogs and Bombers are both interested in him.
Id want something pretty decent if he was to go.

Same build? He's 2 inches shorter than Michael, and while he might be comparable in weight, he's not in muscle mass.
