Two years ago after the Century game against the Blues I mentioned to a few I went to the game with that Richmond were alot like Fish 'N Chips.

You remember them as being good. You get excited by the thought of them. When you get there you are dissapointed. And at the end of all feel ripped off and little bit sick in the guts.

Now halfway through this season I see the club more as an old antic desk. Years ago it was at its best. It has been withered and beaten down. Now it has been sanded back. What it needs is polish and it will be better than its former glory.

I also like beer a lot.

I think you're onto something there IRock , what man doesn't like football , beer , fish and chips and getting a polish .

As far as analogy's go I do believe we are just poking our heads out of the Forest Gump stage. We used to be like a box of chocolates because you never knew what we were getting. I feel as though those days might be over under Hardwick.

Anything to do with us running out in Hawthorn jumpers that day? ;)

I hadn't watched the Footy Show that week, and thus knew nothing about the jumper change. I still remember the ill feeling I felt when we ran out to the song in that jumper.

Hey don't knock Jeanie Little she's a national treasure and has a terrific figure. I always thought if I was rich enough I'd pay her and Bea Arthur a truck load of cash to get it on.
