Lol there is no clash with Richmond and Adelaide but alas here we are. Isn't the mainly blue outfit their away jumper? so lets say North finish first, logically I would say they wear the white top and white shorts but I reckon people would be kicking up a fuss ("Collingwood gets preferential treatment") while we wear the black top with black shorts despite being the "away" team because I think our white away gear would clash with their blue away gear??
I understand what you're saying there, i'm not sure if that blue north gear is considered home or away. I think it looks good anyway, and i would hope common sense would prevail ( for a change ).
Also, the chances of a north Collingwood grand final iin the near future are fairly slim.

A couple of things wrong with that post:

1) Adelaide and Richmond clash, Adelaide is 60% dark 20% yellow and 20% red while Richmond is 70% dark, and 30% yellow. In every other professional sporting organisation in the world that is a clash.

2) North's home jumper is predominantly blue with white stripes. In the scenario you are suggesting, Collingwood would be forced into their white jumper with black stripes and white shorts.
I don't see the clash, it was only the other year they both played in their dark jumpers and no one had a problem.

I just checked and your right North's home jumper is the predominantly blue one and we should be forced to wear our white strip, however, I believe our white is still a heavy clash with their blue one more than our black clashes with their white.

I personally couldn't care what we wore in a grand final. I personally prefer our white strip.

yeah either way I am not fussed, if we were playing carlton or Essendon in a GF (and we finished first) I wouldn't mind wearing our predominately white strip so they wouldn't have to wear their crappy clash strips.

and yes a north Collingwood GF are slim in the near future, in saying that I didn't think it would be a tigers-crows GF at the start of the year.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Its a shame the Tigers are not wearing their traditional jumper. I think both Clubs could have have slightly altered both jumpers to ensure there was no clash without compromising the integrity of their home jumpers.

what? like this?

because you reckon the integrity of the guernsey is retained here?

once, Richmond did this, and Essendon altered the guernsey to a 'fat' sash, they royally ****** the integrity of the original guernsey.

Well I think this will be a watershed moment in the whole alternate strip discussion.

In the end, wasn't that bad, was it?

And now a new set of memories, a new tradition.
Yep, they did it. Every club that refuses has no excuse. Richmond of all clubs won a premiership in their clash strip

The tigers are one of the least put out by their clash. It's still yellow and black, vaguely resembles WA state, and save maybe the eagles yellow peril isn't a common premier sight.
