Technically Eagles did it first in 2006.
Technically, that's their away strip. Eagles clash strip is the white one.

Well done Tigers. Adelaide players will be having yellow nightmares. Tigers were in their face constantly.

I just hope they now don't start doing a Hawthorn/Freo or Eagles and where it at every other week by choice.

Wear it in away matches where there is a clash. That still gives them several opportunities in Melbourne when away to Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Melbourne, etc, anyway.

That should be Richmond's main jumper...ae the songs says "YELLOW & Black"
The entire club will cherish both strips now.

It really doesn't matter which strip the premiership is won in.

The New England patriots made the greatest ever comeback in superbowl history in an away strip.

Real Madrid won a historic 12th champions league in an away strip

What they wore in the match is insignificant. Their players were no less great.

And that's the point! A club are it's people.

Just like the pats have built their success on Belichek and Brady.....and Real Madrid have Zidane and Ronaldo, Richmond have Gale, Hardwick, Reiwoldt, Cotch, Martin, Houlli, etc. They're the fabric of the club that delivered the premiership, not the strip.
