Funny picture, but irrelevant. If you have an argument to refute my points go for it.

Let me guess. Your argument is "let's move with the times". Who sets these "times"...elites such as Gil, who is clearly out of touch.
People who set the times can be so out of touch you don't know it until about 5-10 years later when everyone goes "why on hell did they let that decision through" ...answer: because people are too lazy to fight for what is right anymore.

Just roll with the "times". Trust the elites are making the right decision. You probably think our politicians are also making good decisions too. :rolleyes:Roll with the times, eh!
You keep talking about Gil being out of touch with what 'the people' want, but have you ever considered that your view might be in the minority?

Bigfooty is a pretty good snapshot of footy fans and in the other thread over 80% of people voted that Richmond should wear the clash strip as the lower ranked team.

A Hawthorn supporter denigrating other clubs' jumpers as being unfashionable? Really?
You are the purple haze and were promoted as such throughout grand final week... but the guernsey you wore was anything but a purple haze...

And yes I would have loved a Power Rangers guernsey Hawthorn grand final!

It's doesn't matter where what to wear if you win.

You start a new tradition.

England wore red at Wembley in 1966 and it remains Englands most iconic moment and perhaps even more so by it being in the red top.

My 66 top is what it wear proudest despite not even being born then.

You make your own history.

Finishing top is irrelevant. People who make that their argument are purely just following the spin from AFL Moscow Gulag Central. They change their rules as they go along to meet their social engineering agenda.

He (PoloGil and his executive friends) are just trying to engineer the game into something he (Polo-Gil) wants. Has he even CONSIDERED asking his constituents (ie the fans) what they want?

No because he would most likely tell you " for the good of the game he is providing leadership". This is the same type of Orwellian language one gets from politicians. He is from the same social set as the Turnbulls & Shortens of the world. Fake info to deceive. People swallow their lies as it is easier to do it than thinking.

Like I said in previous post, I am willing to put in $350 of my own money if it would assist the Tigers in wearing what they are meant to wear. This club has meant a lot to thousands of people before Gil came into this life on his pony, and in his 4WDrive. And it will mean something to people when he is gone. Richmond supporters deserve to watch re-runs on video of their team without thinking every ten seconds...why on God's earth are they wearing that Gawd awful jumper"
You talk a lot of shit.

What's wrong with being elite?

That's an entirely different issue and you know it.

Stick to the subject at hand.
Its 100% relevant to the Victorians having a massive sook about nothing. Adelaide supporters are going to have to spend 4-5 times as much as Richmond fans to watch the game live. Richmond get to play at their home ground, with far greater numbers, which in turn makes it more likely they will get the rub with the umpires when they start booing. If you're the lower ranked side and you get all of those advantages, then complain you have to wear your aware strip, you're a complete *******.

We will wear our normal guernsey.
Just charge our members an extra $0.75 to pay for the $50,000 fine.
Are you that unhappy about making the grand final for the first time in a generation that you want to spoil it for everyone else with a petulant little tantrum?

Shows how illogical "clash" is
Richmond normal Guernsey 80% black 20% yellow
Adelaide guernsey40% blue, 30% yellow, 30% red
The supposed clash is between Adelaide's 40% blue which is surrounded by red stripes and a Guernsey that is 80% black. In 10 years time new AFL directors will look back on poor decisions like this and just shake their head in wonder.

Why can't AFL compromise if this exercise in idiocy is so important to them and get Richmond to modify their back or make sash slightly wider
