Astbury
Richmond defender David Astbury is unlikely to be available for the Tigers’ Round 1 match against Carlton next Thursday night, after being stung by a stingray while doing recovery at a bayside beach on Wednesday.

Hampson
Tigers ruckman Shaun Hampson appeared to suffer a knee injury during a practice match against Collingwood at Punt Road Oval on Thursday afternoon.

Going into the game with his right knee heavily strapped, the Richmond big man limped from the ground with the club doctor in the third quarter.

I really want Conca to have a month in the reserves when he is "right" to return. Been brought straight back in far too often. Taylor Hunt owns his spot for now.
I'd love to see a fit Conca in the 22.. really needs to be his goal to get his body right.. I do believe he has the talent just needs the workrate..

I can't see it.
If Conca played the game Hunt did on Thursday it would have been his best ever.
It's not his fault, but he still looks overweight, turns it over way too much and isn't quick.
It'd surprise to see him get much better. Hope he does etc, but he isn't best 22 now and should have to prove he is before he comes back.
