I see mopsy 'ds point ... we did have some ordinary players in our team and it's a fact of life.
There would have been dozens of posters, including many of those having digs at him now, who were saying Adelaide had ordinary players in their team had they won ..... and its fact the Bulldogs had ordinary players when they won, as did Hawthorn (hello Schoennamkers, hello Renouf).
Never got the whole double standard on here ..... what an example some set by bashing individuals all the time for expressing an alternative opinion.

Fair point, some ordinary players do get Premiership medals. I guess Castagna would be our most ordinary, and Bolton looks the obvious upgrade, but he has surprised so there in no reason he can't continue to improve. He does go hard overhead and leads, and is pretty tough so won't easily be removed. Players will get older and injured, so there will always be spots opening up. You have to look to improve. Who in their right mind would have said Lambert will run third in our B & F in a Premiership year, and he is the definition of a battler.

Must be scary for other teams when you consider our scope for improvement especially from our younger players is huge ...no wonder Muppets like slobbo in the media are trying to tear us down with baseless allegations...they are scared.. and I love it.

It doesnt last for ever and we do have to keep improving we are already well into trade week, time stands still for no one.

I am happy for them all to be retained but hope they are forced out of the best 22 by players who improve or are new to the club. Houli and Grigg have been good servants but are aging.
