I think we will try trade Gus. Someone may bite on a low contract seems he's received most of his money. If not then we may pay him out.

If we were gonna do that I doubt we would have delisted Browne. Unless we plan to rookie him... We all know Derickx can't cut it as a ruckman at AFL level. Beyond him and Ivan we'd have literally no one who can play ruck. That isn't including anyone we may draft this year but outside of Grundy I'm not sure there are too many who could come in and play straight away. If Ivan goes down, we'd be completely skrewed.

Hopefully just the first lot of delistings and with some to be offered up for trade. Still a lot of garbage to be cleaned out and space needed, especially when you consider there's supposed to be up to 3 FA's coming in. Also hope we leave room for what I suspect will be a stronger than usual PSD.

Would border on criminal negligence if he we only took a minimum in the draft. Wallace/Miller levels of mismanagement.

Richmond has confirmed the following changes to its 2012 playing list, at the completion of the home-and-away season:

Kel Moore - 87 career games, 12 goals
Brad Miller - 157 games (24 at Richmond), 120 goals (31 at Richmond)
Delisted
Daniel Connors - 27 games, 7 goals
Jeromey Webberley - 16 games, 3 goals
Andrew Browne - 12 games, 2 goals
Dean MacDonald - no games
Addam Maric (Rookie) - 10 games at Richmond (31 in total)
Piva Wright (Rookie) - no games
Gibson Turner (Rookie) - no games

The Richmond Football Club acknowledges the contribution these players have made, and wishes them all the best in their future endeavours.

Being interstate I dont know a whole lot about the rookies other than Maric but I will say the rest of the list isnt really surprising..

Will there be more delistings?

Of course. But we need to see if we can trade some guys first. Rules have changed this year. Players become free agents when they are delisted now. Whereas before they had to enter the draft. So in previous years you may have got a pick or an upgrade to avoid the draft but now clubs won't do that.

Good call on the rookies, not hard enough on the senior list.

Derickx and Graham should have gone. Derickx will be 25 next year and has played two games in two years. We should have payed out Graham and kept Browne. McGuane and White very lucky.

Turner and Wright were playing 3rds most of the year. Darrou looked alot more promising then Wright and Verrier looked alot better then Turner. So smart moves imoi.

Surely there is a possibility that at least one of Derickx or Graham will get the axe, 3 draft picks doesn't seem enough!

Disappointed to see Gibson go, had a real x factor about him, thought there was a lot more to come from him

Surprised to see Derickx and Darrou survive, none offered much at all at VFL Senior level, never was convinced either of them could make it

Its been stated that we'll rookie to cover injuries, so out with the young rookies, and in with the older ones (and ones that we haven't tried)
It'll be interesting to see whether they are delisted AFL players, or older players from other comps that we want to give them a shot.

1st round - Browne
2nd round - McDonald

Strong rumours of one more (maybe 2) free agents/trades to come, and we need the extra picks for this.

Won't free agency mean that there is barely anyone in the PSD? Players who are cut from a list can just go to the club of their choice and bypass the drafts.
