But that's not what you said, and I quote>> you aren't even the most successful club of the last 10 years FFS.
In case you didn't understand it the first time, We are equal most successful (3 flags each).
3peat adds cred, Richmond only achieved the run of the mill back to back, but enjoy it, it's been a longgggg time coming.

That's the romance of a 3 peat, in terms of success we equalled the hawks with 3 flags each.
Our window is open for a few more years to come.
Now, that run of the mill back to back may well reach a 3 peat by years end ;)

Yeah missing out on the triple crown takes the lustre off for me, especially the way you were knocked out.

Now that the rotund foghorn has been escorted out of Vic Park, I expect the Pies to start selling more scarfs and salted peanuts.

This coming from a collywobbles supporter lol you ain't that good at maths it seems. We are equal most successful :thumbsu:
History lesson No 1, Hawks 3 and Tigers 3.
Hawks 3peated, you didn't.

No Pies supporter under the age of 70 has the right to talk about 3 premierships

Not surprising given Tiger's recent success and supporter base, what is surprising is Carltons effort to be second.

Just quietly going about the business.

Carrying the weight of the 'Big 4' on our broad shoulders - preserving its integrity and prestige - while the other 3 members continually disgrace themselves and/or wallow in decades long mediocrity.

Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
Well it really was your turn to carry some weight. 37 years is a long long time

You know, I get it 30 years of mediocrity, of being laughed at, of the facepalm moments that only Richmond could provide. I had nothing but respect, and still do for the stoic fans that kept supporting the club through it all. I also like Richmond as a club, we Bulldogs remember you throwing your support behind us in Fightback (Carlton and Essendon were notably absent, but that is a whole other discussion).
But we all know what goes up, comes back down, and the bandwagon jumpers kicking on BF will disappear as mysteriously as they appeared, leaving the stoic Richmond followers to cop the schadenfreude that is building.

Show some class.

90% of the population are under 70. Of those, maybe 1 in 15 are Collingwood supporters Adjusting for dementia and general memory loss, leaves probably 99.8% of the population remembering only 2 Collingwood flags.

Norths flags have been more relevant to most people.

Premiers sell the most merchandise. I am shocked to be sitting here.

I like to think every main board thread trolling Richmond begets one of these. Lap it up.

Melbourne sold $2.7 million worth of merchandise alone in the four weeks before the grand final, which according to CEO Gary Pert was equivalent to three years worth of regular sales.
Wow.

Melbourne sold 10,000 ‘road to the grand final t-shirts’ and would have made and sold more but they could not source more blue t-shirts and Australia Post warned them not to sell more as they couldn’t guarantee shirts would get to fans before the grand final.
Amazing.

Last year, Richmond sold 3000 of that style of t-shirt.
And Melbourne supporters aren't even bragging about being a bigger club than Richmond. That's classy, gotta respect it.

That t shirt is utter garbage - Richmond supporters dodged that t shirt crap shirt.

Not sure I see the relevance in comparing the figures to Richmond's the prior year - when your club has won two flags in the few years prior, you save your cash for potential premiership merch.

Kudos to the Dees on the windfall none the less, very handy!

My cousin’s brother in law works for the company that produces the MFC premiership cheeseboard.

He reports that 36,000 orders have already been placed.

That’s a lot of comte.

I seriously wonder how many bought it just for the meme value - I definitely thought about it
