I've noticed over the past few week Richmond always seem to be training at Vic Park.

What's the go with that?

Is Punt Rd cactus?

Construction going on there at the moment, I assume that may be the reason. Having said that, pretty sure I saw them having a run around at Punt Rd as I drove past on Saturday morning just gone.

I check the public training times on the website every week even though I haven't gone to one all year lol, but this week has been the only time in AAAAAAges that they've put Craigieburn down instead of Punt Rd... so they've definitely been using it lately, but yeah probably the constructions.

Richmond train at Vic Park every Thursday as its a closed session.
At Punt Road you can hardly have a private session as its so open.
Only learnt this the hard way as I rocked up thru one of the entrances and one of the staff came over to see if i was a spy or a photographer. I was neither so he let me stay and watch.

punt road oval is a mud bowl in some areas of the ground, so maybe trying to keep it in good shape by not running on it as much?

Bahaha they are good sports, the people who are sposed to keep others out of private training sessions. I went to one at Vic Park at the start of last year and it was only advertised for 30mins on the site, but we got there early and they were already training, then one guy tried to ask us to leave after an hour along with the media, but another guy let us stay for another hour :thumbsu: I remember Richo coming up in the stands and talking to people. Was good.
