We haven't beaten Melbourne since may 2013 so it is a massive match for us. We need to go 5-0 and prove we have put our old habits behind us before some big matches against Adelaide, Bulldogs and GWS.

Pretty confident about tonight. We normally bring it against the Tiges and the boys will be eager to respond after last weeks shattering finish

I'm going to come over and say it I hope Richmond wins today!

And Dustin martin plays for the sole reason of him being in my super coach side haha !

Really looking forward to this one. Richmond look a different side this year and regardless of their struggles against us in the past few games they look a good shot at winning this. Big game for both sides.

I've had butterflies in my tummy the last 4 weeks, a pleasant and exciting feeling, which augured well for the Tiges and was followed by satisfying victories. However this morning I feel more like it's moths flapping about and I have a dark feeling it will not be a happy day for us. Really hope I'm wrong. Did anyone else have nightmares about a certain chap named Hogan last night?

Richmond has the edge on form but Melbourne has more raw talent. A fair test for both clubs with the 22's almost identical in age. No excuses for the loser.

The last few years we have relied on two relatively small-bodied midfielders in Cotchin and Miles to do the bulk of the inside extraction. As a consequence, sides blessed with big-bodied extractors such as Melbourne and North Melbourne have been our kryptonite. Hopefully the the recruitment of Prestia and Caddy has ended this. Tonight will be the test. For the same reason, I would be guessing that Dusty will spend more time in the centre this match.

Ive got a really positive feeling about the game ... the Demons have had their measure so I'm expecting the Demons will win. Either way Im off to the game and looking forward to singing it's a grand olde flag after the game.
